Dear James, Daniel and Emily
Well the weather gods are apparently conspiring agin me. I had hoped for a fun day spent walking around downtown as we wandered from Y to soccer to lunch to store to library. But noooo! Instead it will be a day of bundling kids in car, drive 2 blocks, watch soccer, bundle kids in car, drive 2 blocks to eat, bundle kids in car, drive to parking lot, then walk to comic book store, etc. Stoopid rain and cold! But we will endeavor to persevere, we will improvise, adapt and overcome!
So I changed the blog design again and wanted to make some comments:
1. This new design actually allows for some more columns so I can spread out many of the things I have on there, which is the reason I changed to it (thanks to Maida for sending me the link to the templates)
2. I plan to keep the picture of Manny on there pretty much permanently as up till now he is the closest person to me to die (aside from grandparents) so this is my way of memorializing him.
3. There is a small link for my tweets on the left hand side, I am not real happy with this gadget but it is all blogger has for now. If you really want to follow me you can @frontrangegeek.
4. I lost my quotes when I was tinkering with the design changes, but decided to leave them off for now to keep the page uncluttered.
5. The slide show gadget changed back to just one album on Picasa for now. But if you click on a picture it will take you to my Picasa picture anyway.
6. I have added a shared items link, when an article comes up in Google Reader if I want to share it it will appear here, so you can get an idea of news that has caught my eye.
7. I still need to add a following/links gadget, but that keeps changing as some of the people's sites that I follow have pretty much died. But that is coming.

I like the new design! It's good that the actual post is front and center on the page.
