Happy Anniversary

Eleven years ago at approximately the same time as it is now I was waking up alone in our apartment. I got up, showered & shaved and got dressed. Looked at myself in the mirror for the last time as a single man. And then picked up my Tux and drove off to the church to get married. And I never looked back, because, as I have been know to say: I was making the best choice for the single best thing that ever happened to me. I love my children, they are wonderful and fun, and I love them dearly. But I didn't choose them, I chose Kim.

I cannot believe it's been 11 years already. That morning seems like it was just yesterday in many ways. We both have grown and changed, we've been through some good times and bad. And yet for all my fantastic memory, I really cannot remember what day to day life was like as a single man, without Kim in my life. She truly is the best part of my life.

We are an inseparable team at this point, we know each others moods, we compliment each other in so many ways. We do projects big and small with joy and fun. We handle our parenting responsibilities jointly, always there to back each other up. For all that and so much more I cannot put into words I say:
