1. Not a lot of feedback on my what Kids should know post. Don't be shy about comments, put 'em up there.
2. So Kim had Saturday off for once, so we took advantage by taking a trip to Denver, got in a nice little visit with my cousin and his family, and my aunt & uncle, whom I had not seen in several years. Then we went to the museum of Nature & Science, which was really pretty cool, I think the boys really enjoyed it. However, it was a little too much for my foot. Then we capped things off with a trip to Casa Bonita. Which unfortunately meant even more time on my foot until we finally got seated. But I think the boys really enjoyed themselves.
3. Sunday was a day for relaxing, got our taxes done. We appear to have survived the holidays financially intact, and with the help of the new tax exemption we will be better financially now. Which is good, although I must admit feeling a little down, knowing that we can't just spend that money on something fun and frivolous like a new TV or computer. But that's what comes with being old & responsible...
4. The foot is healing well, no long term ill effects from Saturday, I think I might be able to transition to regular shoes as soon as next week.
