Electoral Results
Break down by candidate, both parties
So here's what I don't get, everyone says that Hillary lost, Hillary came in third etc. But the name of the game in the primaries at this point is delegates, not vote counts. So in Delegate counts she came in second, and only 1 behind Obama. It was big for Edwards and Obama to do well and keep the race close. But I don't exactly think this was a death knell for Hillary like some stories have painted it.
A good description of how the Caucus process really works
At a basic level the caucus system is a lot like teams picking sides in gym class. There's no secret ballot, everyone knows who everyone else is going for. It's really kind of cool, although it is pretty antiquated and susceptible to corruption and less political choices.
Well that's all the political links for today.
