Bowling and back to school

So, it's back to school today for YJ, and he's actually pretty excited. He is such a social kid that I think he gets kind of bored when he isn't involved with a big group of kids. I also think that some time without big brother or big cousins around will help DW, who has regressed a little in his potty training.

We had a very relaxing Saturday, not doing much of anything. We made up for it yesterday, going to the store, then Bowling. I figured I needed to do something fun with YJ that he wouldn't be able to do for a while because of the surgery. And while YJ wanted to go swimming we decided that wasn't feasible with no child watch available for E. It was a good time, YJ is gradually getting the hang of it. Of course it helps that you have theses bumpers nowadays. I will always remember one of my early birthdays when my mom thought it would be fun to have a bowling party, and I ended up with a zero, guttering the entire game. I haven't improved considerably since then. But I did manage to get over 100 in 2 of the 3 games yesterday, Wearing the wrist brace, while necessary for my tendinitis, does actually help my game.
