So went to the Dr. yesterday and he said everything looks good, I am progressing on schedule, and removed my stitches. He said I should continue to wear the boot during the day, then start wearing a shoe at night, gradually easing back into wearing a shoe. So I tried that last night with my Crocs, and may have pushed it a little too hard. But this morning the foot felt fine. I can handle a little pain with Tylenol right now, so I think I can continue easing it in.
So last week J returned to sleeping in the top bunk which is good. But it has meant we have been getting nightly visitations from DW. Which wouldn't be bad except he thrashes around even more than J did, so he really beats K up when he sleeps with us. I told K she needs to just take him back to bed when he comes in, but that's easier said than done when she is the only one getting up during the night to take care of the kids. But I have pretty much reached the point where I can start getting up again so I need to make it a point when DW comes in to just get up and take him back to his bed.
