Dear James, Daniel and Emily,
Last week I had some pretty big meals, especially my dinner (our Anniversary meal). And I felt fine Saturday morning. I had roughly the same meals during the week, hit my fiber numbers etc. This Friday I again had a couple of big meals, including my dinner. But this Saturday, especially after my run, I felt like I had developed another stomach problem, possible obstruction. Very odd. The only thing that I can think of that was significantly different was that I resumed my sit ups this past week. Was it the sit ups? That is what the blog title is about, I don't know for sure, and my Google searches don't bring up anything that indicates that you should not do sit ups with my condition or any difference with those. I don't know for sure, but barring anything different I am forced to rely on my gut instinct (very germane in this instance) and just stop doing any abdominal exercises.
I felt bad enough that I skipped my Sunday run, but I did do the rest of my various exercise routines this weekend, and got a decent walk on Sunday, which included pulling a wagon with the 2 little ones from Old Colorado City back to the house. And Today's run went well. So not sure what brought all this on, but just have to keep things under control, and be real careful about what I do and don't do.
