Back to work

Dear James, Daniel and Emily,

So, back to work for a day today, then the grind really begins again on Monday. We are changing up our schedule with the New Year. Kim will be going to work early, which means I get the later morning shift, with the fun of wrangling kids to school. Today was a dry run, getting the kids up, dressed and fed before dropping them off at Connie's on my way to work. It went OK, although Emily is used to sleeping later so it was straight from bed to car seat for her.

We'll see how the change goes, Kim says she will take over more of the dinner cooking, baths, etc. with this change. Since I get the joy of dealing with the young ones in the morning. Which shouldn't be that hard really, just have to get up early enough that I get all of my stuff done so I can focus on them and getting the boys to eat and get dressed. The problem is Kim isn't all that good at getting up early, so she was always ending up pressed for time.
