Laptop With a Mission Widens Its Audience
This sounds very cool for kids. And I think a very worth while thing. Because it will be an important teaching tool. It is not a game center, it is a portable PC where really all kids can do is write, do some creative graphics, and share what they do with other kids. I am a very strong believer in exposing and teaching my kids about technology. Computers are not magic, they are tools, and the more familiar they are the better suited they will be for the future. And a tool like this would be a much better teaching tool than the generic toy laptops you can buy at the store, but probably more durable that a rweal laptop in the hands of a young kid.
