House saga continues

So the plumber came out yesterday and it was pretty much the worst case scenario. 3 cracks/offsets in the line by the house, major collapse right by the street. So we spent some time last night trying to determine exactly how we will pay for the work. We have worked out a solution for the financing, and it won't be hugely painful. But the overall effect is we have to forego any thoughts for any big family presents like a new TV for the downstairs or a new PC or anything like that for Christmas. Bummer, the joys of being a responsible adult with a family and house.
