Don't turn off the "Lights"
This is a well written, reasoned approach to this issue. And I have to say I wholeheartedly agree with what Bill says. This is just an excellent show. And if you like sports, and watch any other shows on TV, you should watch this show and tell others to do as well.
I really liked this show, and one of the episodes is held in my do not delete spot on my Tivo. Not even Mad Men has had an episode reach that status yet. This particular episode has e great scene at the end where the football coach, who has been arguing with his daughter all episode, finds out she is playing in the powder puff game. And so, in a moment of reconciliation and very touching, gets her out in the yard and starts working with her, playing football. It is just really cool. And a splendid example of why I liked the show.
Now I don't know where the show will go this season, with some of the younger actors ostensibly graduating. But the quality was so good that I am really looking forward to finding out.
So again, spread the word, Save Friday Night Lights
